Silent Voices
The new album Silent Voices is now available from this site and all major digital platforms. The follow-up to Perception takes my music into new (and old) territories, with a blend of synthesised soundscapes, strict rhythms and unconventional sounds.
On this album, I was particularly interested in bringing together a wide range of styles. As my previous album "Perception" was mostly instrumental, on this album I set about to add more vocals but with a specific brief to make them different; some spoken, some using vocoders and some sung naturally. The album opens with the trance/ambient influenced "Serenity". The title tracks are tied together using a combination of chord structures and lyrical themes. Turn Back Tonight is full-on synth pop in the style of Pet Shop Boys. Information/Interaction is a Kraftwerk-influenced slice of electronica. The album ends with The Promise, a proper Ibiza dance workout with lyrics that are very personal; reflections of life, death, friendship and dreams that last forever.
Two-years in the making, Silent Voices is ready to be heard!
